Educational and developmental activities
To provide diversified educational services to elders to learn new knowledge, enhance self-confidence, keep pace with the times and achieve the aim of keeping learning in their later years.
Health education
Improve elders’ awareness in health-care related issues and establish a positive and healthy attitude towards life through health-care education promotions.
Volunteer development
Encourage elders to volunteer for community services, reaffirm to the society with their senses of worthiness: “Old people are great assets to those who recognize their values.”
Carer support services
The “Friends of Carers” Program provides a series of carer support services, which contains general knowledge and practical skill training for carers, rehabilitation products borrowing, consultation and tutoring services, etc.
Social and recreational activities
Provide diversified social and recreational activities for elders to extend their social circles and build up their supporting network.
Reaching out and networking
Provide outreach services to elders in need and assist them in setting up their social networks in the community.
Provision of information on community resources and referral services
Encourage elders to participate in event planning and promotions, develop their potential and live their later years to the fullness.
Counselling services
Provide elders with emotional support for better physical and mental health; experienced social workers are assigned to help elders with issues concerning their personal feelings, finance, housing and adaptability.
Meal service
Provide elders in need with delicious, diversified and nutritionally-balanced meals.
