Objective

Intensive and kind care and diversified services are provided in nursing homes for the elderly to make them feel "It is wonderful to be alive".

Eligibility for the Service

The elderly who suffered from medium to severe damage with physical function which is assessed by Unified Assessment System of Elderly Service of the Social Welfare Department. Provide nursing service for the elderly aged 65 and above who are frail and lack of proper shelter and care.
Provide support services for the family members of the elderly.

Scope

Daily Care Service

Provide the elderly with 24-hour care services for the elderly so that they can enjoy their twilight years.

Medical and Nursing Services

Nurses work by shifts for 24 hours to monitor their physical condition.

Interest Group

Different interest groups are organized to play their strengths and develop their potential.

Group Activities

Group activities are organized to train their coordination skills

Festival Celebrations

Festival activities are held to celebrate with the elderly.

Outdoor Activities

Regular outdoor travel, boat-riding, walking in park is organized for relaxation.

Emotional Support and Counselling Services

Professional social workers provide emotional support and counselling services for the elderly and their families.

Rehabilitation Services

Provide physical therapy and occupational therapy activities to slower hypo-function.

Dietary Services

Dieticians prepare menus and provide delicious and nutritious meals for the elderly.

Apply in the nearest Integrated Family Service Centres or Elderly Centres, and Standardized Care Need Assessment for Elderly Services of the Social Welfare Department will assess eligibility.
