Objective
The home for the elderly is served with the index of "Quality Life"—3C, namely, Care, Concern and Carousel and elderly-oriented purpose, providing nursing service, intensity care and kind concern to make them feel "It is wonderful to be alive".
Eligibility for the Service
- Aged 65 or above if there is a proven need for residential care based on health and/ or social grounds
- Elders are assessed to be of moderate to severe impairment level under the Standardised Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services
Scope
Dietary Services
Provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, and night snack.
Medical and Nursing Services
Nursing staff work by shifts for 24 hours to
look after their health and daily life. Registered medical practitioners and extended service
teams provide medical services regularly.
Counselling and Referral Services
Assist the elderly to get used to the life there
and provide support for the elderly with emotional and economic difficulties by
personal counselling.
Social and Recreational Services
Various
types of activities, seminars, workshops, festival celebrations, outdoor
activities and volunteer visits are organized on a regular basis to enrich
their lives.
Physical Therapy Service
Physical therapists design and arrange appropriate
rehabilitation for the elderly with special needs.
Occupational
Therapy Service
Provide the elderly with daily skills training.
Provide the elders with dementia
with group treatment activities, including reality-oriented treatment,
reminiscence treatment and sensory treatment.
Car
Service
Cars are provided for
dropoff and pickup services.

covers an area of 2992 square meters with two floors, providing the elderly
with quiet and comfortable living environment.
Rest Rooms
These rooms are the place for their daily life
and are equipped with air-conditioning, heaters, wardrobe, lighting, fans, etc.

Fitness and rehabilitation equipment are
provided to enhance the awareness of sports guided by physical therapists and
occupational therapists.
Reminiscence
Room
Old fashioned items are displayed to enable them
recall past and to stimulate the elderly memories.

The elderly can talk with their family members at
there to express concern about each other.

Electric
Care Beds and Pressure Reduction Mattresses
The electric care beds and pressure reduction
mattresses are used to prevent the bed-bound residents from getting bed sores.
Electric Kitchen
Use electric appliances to reduce environmental
pollution.
Laundry
Advanced laundry facilities are provided for the
elderly such as the large washing machine, spin dryer and dryer.
