Objective
Provide the elderly with comprehensive nursing services, develop their potential and promote their physical and mental health through well-organized activities, making them enjoy their life in later years. In addition, day care centre of this home provides care and support service for the elderly who are frail and lack of daily care, making them maintain their physical and mental health, enhance social skills, and remain to live in their community to meet the goal of "care each other within the community".
Services of the Nursing Home
Medical and Nursing Services
Nursing staffs work by shifts for 24 hours to look after their health and daily life. Visting Medical doctor and the Community Geriatic Assessment team doctors would provide medical services regularly.
Counselling and Social Recreational Services
- Assist the elderly to adapt their life in residental homeand provide support for the elderly with emotional and economic difficulties by social worker.
- Various types of activities, seminars, workshops, festival celebrations, outdoor activities and volunteer visits are organized regularly to enrich their lives.
Rehabilitation Therapy Service
Physical therapists design appropriate exercise for the elderly with special needs to improve or maintain their body functions.
Occupational Therapy Service
Daily skills training are provided for the elderly and group treatment activities for the elders with dementia, including reality-oriented treatment, reminiscence treatment and sensory treatment.
Dietary Services
Nutrition balanced breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided, as well as afternoon tea and bedtime snacks. Special meals are also made according to their health conditions.
Car Service
Transport service is provided elderly for medical consultation.
Facilities of Nursing Home
The home covers an area of 2500 square meters with four floors and is equipped with central air-conditioning, providing the elderly with quiet and comfortable living environment.
Garden on Rooftop
The space of rooftop is very large, the elderly can plant bonsai, take walks, read the newspapers, doing exercise,chatting, or take group activities at there.
Reminiscence Room
Old fashioned items are displayed to remind elderly of the memorable past.
Exercise Room
Exercise room is set inon the third floor for elderly to do exercises.
Physical Therapy Room
There are many sport equipments for rehabilitation, and the physical therapists would design appropriate exercise for the elderly to assist the elderly improve body functions.
Dispensing Room
Dispensing room is set to store the drugs properly and the drugs would be dispensed and distributed in a unified way.
Internet Corner
Computers are provide for the elderly to surf the Internet and learn how to use a computer.
Dormitory
Each person is equipped with a private wardrobe, electric care beds and pressure reduction mattress.

Eligibility for the Service |
Residential care, meals, personal care and limited nursing services are provided for the elderly aged 65 and above who are assessed to be moderate to severe level of impairment under the Standardised Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services. |

Day Care Centre:
Daily care and support services are provided for the elderly who are assessed from medium to severe level of impairment under the Standardised Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services and residents in Hong Kong Central and Western District, to help them maintain their best daily activity, develop their potential and improve their quality of life, so that they can spend their later years in a familiar community.
