Education and development service
To provide diversified educational services to elders to learn new knowledge, enhance self-confidence, keep pace with the times and achieve the goal of keeping learning in later years.
Promotion of health education and lifestyles
To help elders enhance their sense of health and establish a positive and healthy attitude to life through health education activities.
Development of Volunteers
To encourage elders to participate in volunteer services for society and practice the spirit of “having something to do”
Consulting and referral service on community resources
To provide information of resources and give proper referrals to elders
Carer support services
The Program of “Friends of Carers” has a series of carers’ supporting services, which contains general knowledge and practical skill training for carers, hire of rehabilitation facilities, consulting and tutoring service, etc.
Extended and community network service
To provide extended supporting services and help elders in need build community network.
Participation in planning and promotion
To encourage elders to participate in planning and promotion, develop potential abilities and live wonderful life in later years.
Support services for unnoticed elders
To actively contact with those unnoticed elders residents that have not been serviced yet, provide service information and give referrals, and help them to live wonderful life in later years in their own community.
Tutoring service
To provide emotional support and promote physical and mental health, professional social workers would help elders face their emotional, economic, housing and adaptation problems, etc.
Social and recreational activities
To provide diversified social and recreational activities to elders to extend their social circle and build support network.
Community dietary service
To provide nutrition balanced , healthy and delicious meals to elders in need.
Nostalgia World
Nostalgia World collects many old things, which supports our nostalgia service. We help elders write their memoirs, and affirm their past achievements by the restatement of old stories. Welcome for donating nostalgia things having collection value, please contact with our clerk for more details.
Neighbors’ emergency support
When there is an emergency event, instead of calling an ambulance, you can inform us to get an AED and neighbors’ help immediately, make best use of resources and give emergency support.
